About Quiet Talker!

Born in Galveston but raised in Houston as a quiet timid mild mannered lady of many blessings. She's a vessel of many words across numerous topics and categories. All through her life she's been told to speak up because of her quiet spoken voice. Because of this, her mother called her "Quiet Talker". She's her mother's "Q.T".

She's a graduate of Texas Southern University with a B.S. in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science. She pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Gamma Psi Chapter from where she has made some lifetime sisterhood friendships. In August of 2005, she traveled the road of another awesome sisterhood of the Order of the Eastern Star and is a proud chartered member of Hannah No. 9. She's been an IT professional for more than 18 years. Programming in different languages on numerous platforms is her career and passion. Now she's discovered a lost love. She's been writing poetry since grade school but only a year ago she rediscovered her gift and started collecting and sharing it with others. The introduction to this wonderful phase in her life was awakened when she started frequenting different poetry spots in Houston back in 2005.

She's performed in Dallas , Lake Charles , New Orleans and several poetry spots in Houston. She loves her family and friends and enjoys life to the fullest as she quietly puts her passion to paper to embrace her gift and share it with others. Her goal in life is to put God first and use her spiritual gifts and talents to be a blessing to others.

She is also blessed to have two sons with the gift of musical passion. Cato is her oldest son that let's his fingers dance across the ivory keys of musical tones of the piano. Javen is her youngest with the gift of the art of singing with an old soul voice of control and smoothness. She thanks God everyday for Him blessing her womb not once but twice!
