Biography
Q.T. is proud of her family and loves them very much. She is thankful for the blessing of awesome parents. Her Dad and Mother provided for the family financially and lovingly. She has two wonderful brothers with beautiful families that she truly adores and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles etc. that she carries in her heart constantly.
She's a graduate of Texas Southern University with a B.S. in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science. She's been an IT professional for more than 20 years. God blessed her womb not once but twice to the birth of 2 wonderful sons. They are her inspiration. She has one that produces music and actually produced 3 tracks on her CD. The other has the gift of song and he did the vocals to one of her tracks on her CD. She thanks God every day for the awesome blessing of being their mother. Five years ago she was taken to her first poetry venue and this experience triggered her gift and she started collecting and sharing it with others through spoken word venues. She's performed in Galveston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Lake Charles , New Orleans, San Antonio, Austin and several poetry spots in Houston and the surrounding area. She also performed in the plays “Ms. Lilly’s Groove” written by Ms. S. Denise O’Neal and “You Can’t Judge a Book by It’s Cover”, written by brburns. She’s the published author of a spoken word/poetry book entitled “Pocket Whispers” in 2007. She also released her CD entitled “Abstrusity” in 2008.
Her goal in life is to put God first and use her spiritual gifts and talents to be a blessing to others.
